Vincent Levelev is a Mass Communication Specialist and freelance journalist whose work has appeared across major national and international outlets, including BBC, Business Insider, Forbes, Fox News, USA Today, ABC News, NBC, Stars and Stripes, Military Times, Task & Purpose, Coffee or Die Magazine, and many more. His imagery and reporting have also been widely featured through the U.S. Army and the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service.

Vincent enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2019 as a Mass Communications Public Affairs Specialist and currently serves as a Staff Sergeant with the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from American Military University. Over his career, he has completed airborne training and served in multiple units across the 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). He has produced more than 8,000 images, 180 videos, and numerous published news stories throughout his military service.

His operational experience includes supporting the Federal Vaccine Response in 2021, deploying to Poland in 2022 in support of Operation Assure, Deter, Reinforce during the lead-up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and multiple rotations with Operation Inherent Resolve. His coverage has spanned Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, and Iraqi-Kurdistan, documenting aviation missions, joint training, and multinational operations.

Vincent’s military awards include the Parachutist Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge, Army Commendation Medal with Combat Device, Army Commendation Medal (5), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (4), the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Army Good Conduct Medal (2).
